Education

Education is such an important aspect of our lives. Teachers are not only required to teach, but also to mother, mentor, coach, nurse, discipline, etc. Students come from a variey of backgrounds, religious preferences, cultures, parent/family types, financial backgrounds, etc. They have had different teachers than all the other students, different ideals and values, political beliefs, etc. The list could go on forever. As a teacher, it is such an awesome responsiblilty to be all the mentioned traits as well as possessing the ability to teach students with such diversity. I am looking forward to the challenge and hope to be that teacher that students remember as one who cared for, taught enthusiastically and encouraged my students.
